Created Grand Ecological Park in La Romana

The Ministry of Environment (SAMARENA) announced the creation of "Greater Green City" an ecological park that will be raised by 5 thousand tasks that were donated by the State Sugar Council (CEA) to the municipalities of the province.
In making the announcement Jaime David Fernandez Mirabal committed to upgrading the area that will include a pier to get to Catalina Island on a journey similar to those carried out by tourists who travel to the island.
A staff member to highlight the extent of the work appreciated the donation of CEA formalized by director Enrique Martinez in an act where he announced the formal handover of the land and who were present at the leading authorities in the province. The book provides a viewpoint from where one can see Catalina Island. He also visited Higuey to assess conditioned by ecological area residents in Villa Cerro.
The Environment minister Jaime David Fernandez Mirabal to provide support to the fullest extent of the project said it takes as its own while valued its importance.
The director of the State Sugar Council, Dr. Enrique Martinez, surrendered on Saturday five thousand tasks of land to the municipality of the province of La Romana to create an ecological park.
Enrique Martinez announced that the work would be inaugurated on Epiphany, 2010 and will feature open areas, suitable for horse riding, biking, picnics, family share making it the ideal recreational area in the city.
